At this point, Jonghyun figured that if he spotted Minho, then it’d be more of a nuisance this time around. From the experience he’s has with him launching his cigarette on the ground, he assumed that maybe the younger didn’t like tobacco. He kind of hoped he’d show up sooner or later, so he could at least try to make Minho hate him less with a compromise…
Minho sighed, needing to pass Jonghyun to get anywhere near home. Since the guy was standing around, looking less aggressive in his short height, Minho stepped out of hiding, ipod still held in his hand as payment if he needed it.
Minho didn’t really think before asking “Why are you still here?”
Jonghyun turned at the sound of a low, familiar voice and held back an urge to smile. He faced the boy that asked him such a question, exhaling smoke before replying smoothly: “I could ask you the same thing.” The older took priority in taking slow steps towards Minho, surely making his way over to him as if he were a frail animal that would run away if he did something wrong.
Minho tensed up slightly, nearly stepping back with each oncoming step by Jonghyun. He stood his ground though, replying “You’re in my way. Though,” Minho couldn’t hold back one of his other ‘great’ jokes now seeing an opening for it. “I could probably jump over you.” He snorted a laugh, proud of his joke.
Jonghyun froze, his face looking rather unimpressed as the younger man threw another insulting joke at him. His cigarette hung loosely from his lip as he willed himself not to punch Minho in the jaw- because honestly, what had he done wrong to deserve such a comment? He did nothing wrong. The shorter one willed himself to heave a sigh, blowing out smoke from his nose. “Are you going to stop now?” he asked.
Minho blinked, nose wrinkling. “Stop what? You’re the weird one, ” he pointed accusingly, not soon forgetting being manhandled and kissed by some guy. “I didn’t do anything,” Minho defended, eyes narrowing with annoyance at some little guy being tough.
